    Don't give away winner!!!

It's no use. The management has decided that headlines are breaking news and that's why people go to news sites like CNN. What they don't seem to understand is that cycling is not like regular news, that cycling is not televised, not run at normal times of the day, and that MOST of their readers...

    New site design

I think it's speaking to a demographic that doesn't exist. Cycling enthusiasts are reading your site. I doubt you've got readers stumbling onto the site just browsing the web and seeing race results is what brings them in. Cycling is what brings them in. If results are all people wanted there...

Another note- the News Editions are great (kinda like the old, but kinda new, too). Can you put the Next/Previous links at the top AND bottom? If I see I've already read it, I can move on from the top, and if I finish reading, I don't have to scroll back to the top.

Greg, Stefan, John, Susan... Do you yourselves like the spoilers? Would you visit CN looking for race coverage knowing that you'd know the result before knowing how the result happened? I can see how it is "news", but it's also the thing that makes cycling so beautiful- the suspense of...

Yes, you said that BBC and CNN don't hide headline coverage. Not exactly a good comparison... Here's how it would go... Reporting on an election: Candidate X now has 53% of the vote. No- scratch that! An attack has come from Candidate Y and he's putting the hammer down! Candidate Y now...

Why I liked the old site better

I'll be gone as a reader if this is the new cyclingnews. I stopped reading VeloNews a long time ago for that very reason. I had friends send me the links to the Giro coverage since Universal Sports put the winner's name beside the video link. What fun is watching or reading race coverage of a...
