2004 Giant TCR/Campy value

Hey all:

I want to sell my '04 Giant TCR to purchase new, and was hoping to get some opinions as to reasonable expectation of value. It's the "team" frame (NOT the ONCE version, but the one with silver and gold accent striping), with Campy Record ergo-shifters, crankset, chain and brake calipers, Chorus rear der and Centaur front der and cassette. Cassette, crankset and chain all less than 1000 miles and less than 1 year old. Campy Eurus wheelset with Michelin Pro Race tires; I weigh 155 and ride pretty smooth roads; wheels never out of true. Deda Zero 100 stem and handlebar; USE Alien titanium seatpost, Selle Italia Flight TT saddle. Everything in very good shape; no problems at all; small "fleck" of the clear coat on one of the accent stripes, but no other significant blemishes on frame.

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum. Any thoughts (in US dollars) would be greatly appreciated so I can just know what to reasonably expect.

Thanks!!

Given the age, start with half the original retail and expect to sell it for less. It's your local market that determines the resale value of a used bike, so the 'half original retail' kinda takes that into account. Expect to sell for less than you ask, so ask a little high. But if it's too high people won't even bother responding because they suspect you're unreasonable.
