Best win of the year is always a personal preference, but Evans win on the Strade Bianche is one of the best wins this year according to the CN polls.

Yeah, I also thought it was strange to exclude the Zoncolan stage. Now it looks as if Nibali has won the Giro. Not a Basso fan, apparently.

And trust me, I know more than enough of Muse's music to say pretty confidently I hate all of it :p Just can't stand them, sorry.

Nice.

But i think the Zoncolan is best watched in Italian.

Sure, i cant speak word 1 of it, but the Giro sounds so good in the native tongue.

Unfortunately i cant find parts 1 through 4 at the moment but this is the one that matters.

i also prefer the comments in italian and i do underastad everything they are saying so i usually watch it like that but since most here are saxons and have english as first or second language i thought i would just make it a bit more easy for them.

i haven't posted any of the comments there but i do agree with the ones saying they are awfull. tho the best(in the awfull comments department of) of the universal guys is the "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE PINK JERSEY IS DOWN!!!!! THE PINK JERSEY IS DOWN IN DA GIRO!!!!!"

he puts a lot of sound into his comments but they don't come from the soul like the comments from lets say the portuguese eurosport guys(one of them crying when paulinho won the stage was really epic) or the spanish guys with the super due they have with delgado and the other guy.

also as lol commentator moment of the year i would like to nominate sean kelly and his partner for saying contador is suffering in the LBL and the very moment they are talking about it contador attacks and catchs up to shleck and gilbert in a very powerfull way. i still laught when i see that. i have the full race on my comp so if that video isn't on youtube i may try to upload that part.

Paulo Martins is absolutely terrible.

Marco Chagas on RTP is way better. Unfortunately he has a dribbling imbecile as a co-commentator asking the same question every five minutes.

That's awesome. I can't stand Sean Kelly so glad to hear about this. :)

ETA - Parrulo - I don't enjoy biased announcers from any country - if I wanted that I'd watch Versus. That's why I like Universal - they don't cry over the American riders or cooo over the Americans.

I just have to ask if you or anyone else on these forums remember a video of Cancellara where the editor were arguing that Canc was innocent and showed why with a bunch of clips from Tour of Flanders.

The video starts with the quote: "If you push this button, you switch on the engine", though they speak italian (look at 29-33 in the video you linked) and then it was some really, really awesome soundtrack with the same pictures of Cancellara as in the video wich you linked. There were also some clips from some other races such as, Tour of Switzerland -08 and Tour de France -07 (I think) to show that what he did in Tour of Flander, had been done before.

I really liked this one, specially seeing AC constantly looking over his shoulder and then Evans sprinting past him to victory!!

Actually, I did watch this race over an internet stream and the picture froze just as it looked like they were about to finish and the AC still got the lead, so I started cursing and shouting and then the picture came back and the first thing I see is Evans rolling over the finish line with Purito and AC close behind, now THAT was a good moment!! :D

Nope i havent seen that, but no one seriously believes Canc used a motor in the first place. The video is just a joke really. :p
