Does anyone know whether the profile is reliable. Because last year the profile for the TTT read about the same, but in reality the second part was a lot harder than what it looked like on the profile

Not too many teams with a couple of strong rouleurs at the start... HTC obviously, Garmin, maybe Saxo... that's about it, really. Liquigas will probably perform, they train for this. Rabo don't, although in terms of riders they're not looking too bad.

Should be the usual suspects fighting for the win. HTC, Garmin and Liquigas will probably duke it out. Sky, Saxo and Rabo will be well organised but under-powered.

How about Radioshack... they have a number of sprinters in their squad, maybe they will have enough punch do well on a shorter TTT?

any chance of slightly smaller profiles. that one is about 3 times the width of my screen.

this course is very technical and absolute must to have explored beforehand for every team that don't want to lose too much time

No introduction?
A Giro stage deserves more than just a couple of images and links... :p

Last year moonieD went all out on the profiles, was pretty cool. I enjoyed it anyway.
Pretty sure he never wanted to do another profile after it tho :p

I don't think it's that technical or rather just the first part is.

the TTT in last years Vuelta was far more difficult and even Footon managed to lose less than a minute in there

I do know that it was shorter, but it should be possible not to lose too much with a reasonable squad.

No problems here.... How tiny is your screen?

1280 same as a majority of internet users, less about 50-100px for toolbars etc, so around 1200 wide. The image is 1200 wide but you have to add forum padding to that. The recognised recommended website width is 950-1000

some examples:
Facebook: 1004
CNN: 1000
MSN: 1000
BBC: 995
YouTube: 970
MySpace: 960
Flickr: 950
Ebay: 940
