Can't see Malori in the jersey after tomorrow's stage. I'll go with Purito for the stage and jersey, probably a group of 30.

Was hoping that last "hump" was more steep than it is. Kinda hard to predict a stage winner.
Might not be steep enough for purito, and I don't see him wanting to be in pink just yet. However bonus seconds are important here too.

Anyone have the profile of the climb itself? Doesn't look like a Purito climb anyway, might actually lose time on it.

NVM, found it. Definitely not a Purito climb

It's less than 5%. Any decent climber who finished in the bunch today should be able to stay at the front. Unless a big team actually does something, but we don't expect that.

Late break like DeClercq on Montevergine last year. The big guns will conserve energy for the third week.

at least 50 guys group at the finish.serpa to win ahead of cunego.

He lost 15mins today and has a injured (broken) finger...doubt it. I'd love Henao to show himself tomorrow :)

if you are adding Szmyd at least add Hesjedal. The guy finished 7th in the Tour for crying out loud

And 4th on the Tourmalet stage in the 3rd week. He was quoted as saying that he just got stronger as the tour went on.

And I'll add, as I seem to need to do every time Hesjedal as a potential GC contender comes up, that even last year, when he was not in good form and he was working for Danielson at the Tour, Hesjedal finished 10th on Galibier and 9th on the Alpe. He really seems to do well in the third week of a GT, which should be perfect for this year's Giro.
