That's one long - a$$ stage. Since everyone's gonna pick Cav or Goss for a win here, I'll pick Theo Bos, since arguably he stands no chance in hell on paper

Good day for bernies eyesore's cav in team sky breakaway tactic.

We'll have to rename him "Bernies SkyScore" if that happens.

Although, since all DSs read this forum, teams will most likely anticipate the tactic and take preventative measures.

wake up, kiddo'.
On the other hand, I think that Jo*Rod's scudería will not chase the breaks which may take place; will seek to relinquish the jersey until later. Katusha not strong enough to waste efforts mid-way.

If a strong break goes then will Sky chase that hard given the similar challenges to what happened at the end of stage 9? Sky might be tempted to wait for stage 13 if it looks like they will have to chase alone for much of the stage. If a fairly weak group of 3 take it on though then they might be bothered. Maybe a stage for someone like Casar or Zaugg to have a go at a break and try take pink? They arent big contenders for the overall so the main contenders wont be that bothered unless they start taking big time.

So the two questsions are:

1) Who takes Cav out on this stage ?
2) What other sprinters get taken out as collatoral damage ?

Hard to see past Cav, unless there is an incident on the run in.

Goss for 2nd (again)

I've thought hard about a prediction, but I am not sure. The real benefit is, that even if this is a bunch sprint (which cav would win), I think there will be enough drama between a strong early breakaway, the hill and the chase of any attacks, to make this more than the lamented "snoozefest".
