So 100% flat with no difficulties, except maybe a few corners on the last couple of K.

Crosswinds won't cause any problems tommorrow.

It's the narrow roads on the way 'home' that could be deceive - especially when the peloton is still in that nervous state of mind in the first days.

Why won't crosswinds factor?

Winds won't be that though tommorrow. There are always winds on that stretch and of course - it's no walk in the park, but it shouldn't really do that much damage on such strong riders that are the peloton.

I hope it's windy. Otherwise this will be a complete snoozer.

Why couldn't they put one of these stages into Vejle?

No idea. As one mentioned in this (or another thread) there are several options for 'mini-ardennes' profiles just a couple kms further away from the current route.

Riis said on Rai that they want to attack with the wind in the hope of getting the pink jersey with Boaro, but also said that unfortunately the wind will be less strong tomorrow.

First, yes the wind will be less strong tomorrow, but there's always a lot more windy on the west coast than in Herning for instance, so even though the wind will be milder in general tomorrow, we'll certainly witness at least some wind blows which could be a factor.

Second, Vejle is not involved in these Giro stages simply because they didn't want to.

No way Sky, GE and Garmin can't get a bunch sprint together. That's basically all they're there for, three of the best classics teams in the WT.

The wind:

Yr.no (Torsminde) 14:00, 7 m/s WNW
Smhi.se (Torsminde) 14:00, 5 m/s NW, gusting to 9 m/s (the hour later to 10m/s)
Dmi.dk (Thyborøn) ~14, ~5m/s W gusting to ~8m/s

Doesn't look that the weather will play to huge of a role. Maybe some splits in the field if it is gusting at the most exposed part of the course but likely to get together again, a long way back to work on.

I think it could be the easiest climb to get a mountain jersey ever

Maybe the VAM-Berg in the 2009 Vuelta?

That didn't even pay any points. I think it was Tom Leezer who won the sprint to get the jersey, but he wasn't credited with any points because the Vuelta's organisers didn't deem it worthy of points.
