Let's see how Rujano will feel...

Dont think we will be seeing much from him tomorow, asides from some shots of him far off in the distance, having been tailed off.

While I really enjoyed watching yesterdays break battle it out, I am hoping for somebody closer on GC to get away on Valcava. Of course the chances of that happening are rather slim, but one can never lose hope.

stage looks good, but are everybody lulled to sleep? Frankly several overpaid stars needs a kick up the backside at this point. Its Sunday before a restday, there can no be excuses. Let the fans see some racing please.

Did I just read 'overpaid' in a sentence about cyclists?

As long as the riders have a radio back to the DS who is calling tempo with Eurosport providing near perfect telemetry, that's as good as it gets.

And then there's the soul-crushing length of both of those climbs. Riders were flying out the back at almost every meter on the last climb. Every third meter on the second climb. And what about the 50KM/h pace in the first hour?

Expect more tempo tomorrow and some attacks from a tiny lead group in the last 5K on Sunday. As long as teams have radios back to their DS's it's not going to change.

What a bunch of whingers we are. Saturday was the first mountain stage of the Giro, the final climb was long, but not particularly steep, and was never going to be a chance to win the Giro, possible to lose, but not win. Gradients of 5% are just too hard to ride on your own vs folks riding in a group. Once it kicked up to 8% we saw a few attacks, but it's still a long way to Milan.
This stage is tougher. Shorter, but more climbing and the final climb is tougher. I don't expect the tactics will be too different, even racing not to lose, there won't be more than 5 in contention after today. I really hope Rujano can pull some time back, he should be given a little lattitude.

could be another one for the canadian, nothing too steep expect a small section on the first climb, plus the Liquiboys might push the pace on the not so steep climbs, that should help Hesjedal as well. however, no flat sections and the rest day ahead->no excuses today!
