Looking forward to it.

3000 points was the budget for the Giro: I would lean towards repetition of that. Otherwise, are we to assume that Contador and Valverde are unavailable?

Correct, Contador and Valverde or any other doper returning from ban is not available.

We will go with the 3500, just to try it out and and that will give us idea for next year.

Otherwise the game will be open on Wednesday. I know its late but twe major reason is that San Sebastian is on Tuesday and I think quite a few Vuelta participants will be racing SS so more points will be awarded ... which also means that I will have to manually update every rider because the official downloads are only available once a week. ... like I dont have anything better to do

Prepare your team based on these values but realize that good amount of points will be awarded from San Sebastian! http://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/cqRankingRider.asp?current=1

The 'Matching Riders on Other Teams' feature is working now. Shouldn't that be inactive until after the deadline?

removed! Thanks for the heads up. If you guys see any other bugs, please let me know ... after all, I'm just a cycling junkie too :)

Buying cost is same from the last update. The San Sebastian points will br only counted for the main game.

So far we have 31 teams. I know this is not TDF or Giro but common guys. We need to have at least 50 before I lose motivation :)

I think this may have been a little low: the current points seem higher than in the Giro, but I can't explain why this would have been

No way, this was incredibly easy, I almost had a dream-team of riders but for 40 points over. Still happy with what I got, less struggle to name a team than last editions

No way, the big favourites for the Giro and especially the TDF were much cheaper than for the Vuelta.

There are plenty of decent picks, guys who don't cost too much who could do well, but there's just too much of them, so I find it hard to determine the best selection of those guys.

Either my team is better than I think, or I'm missing something

Lol this is my team, top 5 most common picks all in it for me.

By the way, I think you listed the wrong cost, because the cqmanager site gives a different cost for almot all of these.

Rubbish, I picked more favourites and gc contenders for this team than any of the other comps. Picking a certain favourite was always an ott risk in the other two games, this one you could probably have picked Froome or one of the other 1500 guys and still had a good team around them.

Think people are just whinging because they can't load their team up more.
