Froome vs Contador is getting principal. Seemingly we'll close to A squads again. Does Andy participate in this junk?

yep

should be contador vs froome, let's see how contador recovered.

Is he worse or better than he was in T-A?

Worse since he was ill two days ago and I don't think he'll completely recover from that in a few days.

No one knows. Even in the best years Andy solved his personal tasks in the races like this, finishing much worse than the best. Now it is hard to predict anything.

Porte will take this. Froome 2nd.
Contador top 5.

Porte is generally not the best on a very short (and flat) TT. Iirc he is better on the longer ones (the PN one is different since it was uphill).

My bet is Froome.

Btw the final climb in detail:

Porte's form looks better than Froome's imo.
And Porte will not be worn out from any support work.
I'll stick with the Australian.

The competition in PN was not comparable with the competition in TA by a long shot. Easier to make it look "easy" in PN :)

Meh, Porte was on his way to breaking the record up Col d'Eze. That doesn't require any competitors. Froome still lacks form imo.

I nominate Siutsou to be Cataldo, at least it's more believable :D

I bet Kiri is going to ride brutally today. Alex and Purito would better surrender at one.

Obvious duck is obvious.

(not obvious, but I can think of other combos, a few months ago, where this sort of manouever would be jumped on with very few people willing to take it at face value).
