There should be some action here. Sky should send Henao and/or Uran early to put pressure on Astana. Vini Fantini surely will try something too. Hesjedal and Scarponi i expect will attack as well. Hopefully it will be another great stage.

Breakaway victory.

Maybe Pozzovivo?

Way too close on GC, and still dangerous for a top 10 minimum.

Break should get some freedom. I'll go with Rabottini or Rubiano FTW. Again.

Breakaway to take it, hopefully a highlighter takes the stage. Would love to see it be Rabottini.

Would be nice to see Betancur get in the break as well, at 6 minutes it would be a good way to win at least some of that time back.

Yeh, hardly a Cat 3. That is the place to go, first half of the descent helps too. The Fiesole descent isn't all that tricky but I guess being short it's all about being in the first 5.

I will say a breakaway to win by 9 minutes as the pessimism seems to be working.

After a closer look at the climbs it wouldn't surprise me to see a Sky train on that "cat 3" climb.

Normally this would be a chance for Nibali no?

Hills, descents, next day is a rest day so he can go a bit deep without too much consequences, he's in the flow, might rain........

I voted for him, but I guess being in the pink and all it really shouldn't and probably won't be up to him.

I'd be disappointed if no GC men try anything though, considering it's a rest day after this.

I see half of the Colombian-Coldeportes team in the breaway!!!

Why not send the nine together and rotate with each other! :D

This stage don't seem as neutral as I thought at the beginning. Those gradients look interesting.

They know they have not done anything this far and they need results quickly.

If anyone goes in the break for them I hope it's Quintero.

might actually be a pretty good tactic to put more than a few of them in the break. Not really that much reason to chase them down if they did. Their highest placed guy is 10 minutes back.

I'm seeing Froome and his girls busy practicing the rain dance for tomorrow's stage :p:p. "one .. two.. three.. four... yo.. yo..what.. what.."

"sky train, sky train. You can cho cho to the mountain at high speed shedding off the passangers. When the rain falls your engine starts clogging and your leader starts descending like an old granny."
