Another bunch sprint. Will Cav hang on this time? Even if he does looking at how many guys were dropped with him, i doubt he is in decent shape

so how many kms of flat terrain after the final descent? Almost 20km?

Only if Sky's train goes 100% on the climb will this lead to GC diffs.

I think it's around 20km from the top.

I expect a bunch sprint.

what are the reports on him? Is he back to former form etc?

He said in an interview yesterday that he needs another month to get into shape and hes gonna focus on finishing the race and taking it "easy". So logically hes now in the breakaway :D

Cavendish had a mechanical yesterday so his finishing position might not be a true reflection of his form. Having said that maybe on better form he would have been able to get back on as not many others were dropped.

OPQS will want Cav to still be there but with Meersman going well they probably wont want to have people drop back to try and pace him back on.

It's incredible how bad some "professional" profiles are. Is it so hard to make a good looking profile (or just one that doesn't seem to include vertical walls)?

What bothers me the most is that there isn't a good map of the final.
