I suggest he might be sick, or something like that. He skipped Catalunya with intention, and is known as someone who prepares for himself and does this very carefully, knows how to peak.

The winter must have been good, he won a stage in Paris-Nice, so don´t know what´s wrong.

Yesterday he was pulling until the last climb, and his teammate won. I don't know how that constitutes bad form, he's just training.
