How hard is that climb on stage 3?

The information ' 4% ' is wrong. From Bistrica, first a couple of easy kilometers. Then about 9 km at 6-8 % , little false flat (2-2,5 km) and last 2,5 km at 5-6 %. Looked it up on Strava.

I missed Ulissi appearance. I was predicting Machado to win (silly me, I know), now I have to change my predictions. In a matter of fact, all depends on the post-Giro form of Ulissi, but Lampre have a great trio here with Horner, Ulissi and Polanc, if they deliver what they are capable off.

Hope that Fabio Duarte does well too, but it's Fabio Duarte, nothing to expect, nothing to regret.

Do you know if it will be televised?

Strava is notoriously wrong when it comes to gradients

Contenders for stage 3?

I would add some more. Pellizotti, Pirazzi, Battaglin, Duarte, Pantano, Koren, Golcer, S. Yates, Rabottini and maybe more.

Very nice field, indeed. Better than last year for sure. Will be very difficult for Rogina to repeat. Also hard to see a Slovenian rider take this, although they have the biggest motivation. I hope Polanc or Koren FTW and hope Mohoric will show good form.
