how tough are the climbs?
any pics of the climbs available?

cav was in the peloton when OPQS was riding in front. Only when GRS put in very high tempo, cav was moved out of the bunch. If the climbs are too tough, then Degrnkolb or Sagan. if he holds, then Cav ftw.

wont be surprised if someone tried a long range attack(Fab:rolleyes:)

well, the sure will be a bunch sprint, but without the profile of last km, it's hard to say the winner. According to profile, the final sections seem to be a little bit steeper than the start of the final "climb", but the question would be what percentages.
I would name Cavendish, Degenkolb and Sagan main favourites.

I don't think Sagan will take it. Even if Cav fails to survive, Kristoff and Degenkolb should with ease and they should challange Sagan.

Kristoff is struggling with an achilles tendonitis

Since OPQS has to do the work for Martin, the leadout could well be failing for Cav (like it did in the past when his team worked all day). So as much as I would like to see Cav winning, I don't believe it. Degenkolb or Sagan have much better chances, cause they can watch the Belgians reel in a breakaway.

Cavendish - Haussler - Tour de Suisse - Bunch sprint.
Let us hope there is no more of this.

I am almost certain that Boonen said after Suisse crash he had chucked doing top level bunch sprints, too dangerous or something,"too many cowboys in the peloton" it was in Procycling magazine cobbled classics preview 2011 i think,an interview in his apartment when he was still in Monaco.

Yeah, if it wasn't for Cav, Boonen would probably have had a good shot at the WC later in the year.
