It will be the scene of my torture, I'm doing the fun ride (still young), so I am pansying out at 112km, but i'm sunburnt all over- so i don't know how i will go.

That final hill anything special?

Last year there were quite a lot of guys dropped out of contention, so it could prove fairly decisive in terms of GC

Full climb is 3.6k at 7% average, there is a 1k section at 11% though so it will splinter the race a lot, i road up it today, very tough climb.

So guys like Greipel, Caleb or Von Hoff shouldn't have a chance in this stage... Another Gerrans vs Ulissi in my opinion... Gerro should take it considering the flat finish.

They could come in one's or two's if there is a strong enough attack with Evans or Porte attacking hard and long enough. I don't think it is a Gerrans or even Ulissi definite win.

actually a fairly decent downhill (maybe 2-3% downhill gradient) on the finish straight, sprint round 80k an hour id guess.

This is Evans' best chance imo, as I think Uilssi will be the strongest on Willunga. Gerrans needs to stay in the bonus secs as well to win overall.

I don't think this is for Gerrans. I prefer a guy like Evans for this finish, as I think it will be raced a bit too hard for Gerrans. I wouldn't discount a guy like Hermans, either.

Gerrans first on Stage 1, Second on stage 2....what else could Gerry Ryan wish for....maybe this.

His timing is impeccable. I thank him also for the $9.20 winning payout ;)

Official owners are Limerick Lane but I am pretty sure that a fair few of the OGE boys are part owners. Nice day all round for the team.

I hope Shleck and Gesink attack on the climb, considering their descending. Dennis and Porte have to go here too if they want to gain time.

I think either Evans, Thomas or Gerrans will win.

Gesink isn't a bad descender, it's the climbing that's the problem these days ;)

Porte has announced a UK Postal train for tomorrow... I think if anyone rides away solo it has to be Porte.

Evans will be at the finishing line getting a back rub and the ochre jersey by the time the others have crested Corkscrew Road.

is it where Thomas won?

It was a difficult climb...is more than the first day climb, little bit more.

What no tips for Moreno yet?

Could be riding angry now that he's lost another team mate to broken bones. Has a good shot at GC still and finished second behind Thomas on this stage last year.

It is indeed.

Thomas attacked very hard on Corkscrew last year and gained himself a nice little buffer over the top for the fast run in to the finish.

Gesink probably in the group behind the best 4/5 yeah, maybe he can return in downhill like theyoungest said, but definately not attack on the climb
