brutal attack by froome at the base goes clear with alberto. alberto takes the stage win, froome second. aru 3rd at more than one minute

Froome won't win anything by just pacing himself, he's can't drop everyone that way. It worked today because the rest blew up after attacking on super steep slopes.

I think the climbing times will be a bit slower than in 2012.

I think sky will set a brutal pace from the bottom, and when everyone is burned up Dawg will try a mutant attack. Now the only question is whether it will stick or not.

But as long as it doesnt become a sprint for bonus seconds im happy,

An enigmatic stage, imo.
The length and profile are tailor made for high intensity ride, but the Monday's bumps might affect tomorrow's speed.
Anything can happen on rainy Covadonga. And dry, as well.

Don't see Froome going for a mutant attack. The only reason he did not lose time in today and on the last mountain stage was because of his pacing. Don't think he's good enough to attack very hard. It's the perfect way for him to actually lose a lot of time

Wow nice list you got there those were the times:D
I don't think they will get even close, but we'll see.All i hope for this is to not end in a sprint for boni seconds and one big GC guy to grab the win.

The win 2 days ago wasn't legendary ? :O

nope :p

Tomorrow he will drop them all one by one, until it is only him and AC left, he will then turn his head and say " I would drop you and take 5 min today, but my awesome fan VAE on the cyclingnews forum got you as his 1st on gc in the Foxxybrown game, so I wont".
They then proceed to reach the finishing line togheter. AC then has an epiphany that he has to lead Arus army in the battle of the giro/tour double in the of year 2015. He terminates his contract with Tinkoff and joins Astana as a superdomestique.
True story

Not so sure, he got from the bottom of the mountain to the top quicker than all the rest of the GC on a climb today that clearly doesn't suit him. Contador should be afraid, very afraid, the mutant doth rise from the grave!

Tremble, mortals, and despair, Froome has come to this world.

Of course. The only chance to beat Froome is to attack him from far off, if he's still there with 2-3 k to go he'll go mutant. Tomorrow not so much but Monday will be murder. 1 minute down is nothing for the dawg.

there are descents in the last 2-3 km so i think froome needs to start the turbo on la huesera or even before. sky is ready no doubt. they will enter on the climb like kelme used to.

I look forward to the twisty descend of the previous climb: if it rains it can derail some trains.
