Was hoping Purito would ride this it should be one of his goals, a classic with an uphill finish. But Lombardia is more important, hopefully he really gives it a crack next year.

For today though I hope Pozzovivo can do something to salvage this season.

His plan was to compete, before he was forced to go too the Worlds. He only arrived at his home in Andorra on Tuesday. I just hope he still has something left for Lombardia now.

Thanks Minguez!

Very strong team for Sky:Ian Boswell, Sebastian Henao, Sergio Henao, Vasil Kiryienka, Leopold Konig, Mikel Nieve, Wout Poels and Richie Porte, but i'm wonder who they will ride for.Hoping that Astana and Sky will go crazy on this,so much firepower.

And now they're using it. Kiryienka raises the tempo, Koenig attacks.
