2015 Tour Of Alberta, September 2 to 7

Stage 1 - TTT

Anyone know the reason why none of the teams for the Tour Of Alberta TTT weren't using TT bars? Too windy?

Might be for the same reason that they do this in Qatar and Oman. So the foreign teams don't have to bring their TT equipment just for one stage.

Matthews seemed to be having a hard time getting past his leadout man even. Can't blame him looking at the weather conditions.

Tonights stage looks to have a pretty nice finish, anyone has details about the two last climbs? (length + gradient). Judging from the profile it looks good for Michael Woods!

Apparently the first 4,5km are at 6% with a 1,5km peak at 8%. Then a km or so at 3%, 3km of descent, 5km of false flat and the final 3km at 5%.

Not the hardest finish ever but with up and down practically the whole stage (at least on the official profile looks that way) and the low temperatures, it could be a pretty demanding stage.

Thanks thougt it would be a bit shorter and steeper, but should still give some good racing!
