Would be nice if Boasson Hagen has recovered fully and does well here. He was looking decentish in the spring. It would be nice to see some old school Boasson Hagen doing well in races like this and going stage hunting in the TDF.

Hopefully the stage can go ahead, as this is a much nicer route than they've presented in the past. The puncheur finish in stage 4 could be interesting as well. I wonder how well Omar Fraile's form is holding, if he's still got his late April-early May form he could be dangerous. Is Ole Forfang related to the ski jumpers?

Unfortunatly, when Caja Rural's confirmed line up was posted, Omar Fraile wasn't included anymore.

Don't know anything about Forfang's family...seems this one is from Oslo while the ski jumpers are from Tromsø. Could still be related of course, it is not a very common family name.

I highly doubt it. Never heard it meantioned in the papers or media here. As neinei says, Oslo and Tromsø, a great distance between them.

Anyway, seems like a cool route, hope Wilmann can do well!

Both Sky and MTN send really weak teams here, so it should be difficult for them to control the race. Meanwhile, Team Joker has an insanely strong team. It will particularly be interesting to see how Eiking and Lunke rides. Hoem and Stake Laengen are also strong climbers.

Eiking has been quite impressive this year, even if he's a climber/puncheur he has placed top 3 in several bunch sprints, and should be in top shape for this one.

Break: Molina (Caja Rural), Aistrup (Riwal), Balck (Tre Berg), Laengen (Joker) and Landa (Coop). 3:15 gap.

Inevitable joke: The Landas are on fire these days.
