2017 Road cycling World's Championship in Tunja, Colombia?

An UCI commision, the Colombian Cycling Federation delegates, as well as the the city of Tunja's authorities were visiting last week the locations, infrastructure, & potential routes for its bid to host the 2017 UCI Road Cycling world's Championships. The UCI representatives departed satisfied & pleased with all the findings & will gather in Europe to evaluate its realization. The idea of bringing the World's to Colombia came as a result of the past success of the 1995's World's Championships celebrated in Duitama- just one and a half hour away from Tunja, capital city of the Boyaca Department (State)

this.thats why I havent commented yet.there have been rumours going for years.but...
If its true,this should be freakin great.european riders should do tons of altitude camps before this.:cool:It should be the best worlds for climbers in years and colombians will go ballistic from start to truly kill everyone imo.I can see even double or something like this for colombia:eek:
