GVA doesn't appear to be on the imperious form he was on last year so I have no idea who's going to win this one but I really like this race.

To me this race always feel like a ronde light version. GW is the race I'm much more looking forward to. E3 often has the better racing but GW is way more unique.
Sagan ftw
Funny, I think E-3 without a doubt is the best coupled classic outside the monuments. Its always delivers and just look at the recent winners, all world class riders who for the most part also are very versatile. I also like G-W, especially when they increased the length, but E-3 is just damn good television!

I have no clue about who are strong at the moment, its really up in the air so I go for Oli Naesen or Sep. I would have liked to see Valverde or Nibali in this race, its traditionally a race where the more climber oriented riders can do very well.

Vacation on friday, a few beers and E-3! Omloop was disappointing and KBK is KBK, gotta love the flemish classics, the first real hardcore racing there! Damn I look forward to finishing this week and just chilling out. :D

Benoot will crush everyone here. Sagan and Colbrelli will round out the podium.

He is certainly among favorites but I don't think he will be able to drop Sagan and he doesn't have a chance against him in the sprint. My tip is 1. Sagan, 2. Benoot, 3. Sep.

Enjoy your day off. This is my week of not a lot of work (I get that about once every couple of months due to being a vendor). So I had Tuesday off and I also have Friday off. Of course tomorrow I have a meeting in a city an hour plus away.

Looking forward to E3. Should be a fun race.
Hopefully Landa can get over the cobbles without any issues and learns something for the Tour.

As Sagan has "no team" here, he will return to his old "cool and stupid" self and will drop the hammer on koppenberg and on patterberg and kwaremont will try to finish any leftovers of the peloton off. He will find a companion in Sep and Benoot, who seem to be excelent shape. GVA, unless his last showing weren't really due to his true shape, will be there too. If somehow only Sagan and GVA come to the finish, the winner is obvious, but if somebody else is there too, then sagan should win easily.

That would be my "show for the fans" scenario, that Sagan was talking about. If he doesn't deliver it tomorrow, than those interviews were only ***. He obviously won't sacrifice the monuments for the sake of the "show".

Looking forward to this, will be interseting to see what GVA and Sagan will do, neither of them has shown much so far

Apparently there is a pretty significant wind coming from the south; of course there is a lot of twisting and turning in the zone with the climbs, but there are crosswinds both in the beginning and the finale. Gilbert saying the wind will determine the race more than the riders. :p

Just saying, could be a brutal race. Having a ticker/stream on in the background so as to be able to turn in immediately when it's going down is probably advisable and it might start going down early, if the reports about the wind aren't too exaggerated. :)
