Peter Sagan is NOT going to win.
That wasn't the question ...
I did answer your question in the poll (Voted for Stybar). That was just my prediction.
I get it. My post was regarding your cheap shot at Sagan. Anybody can make that prediction, but without any reasoning, it is just a cheap shot.

... Stybar will not win

Gilbert will not win this race.
My vote is on Gilbert.
My heart wants Vanmarcke or Sybar or Naesen.
These 3 guys are strong. These 3 guys are consistent. Now, they are in golden age.
It is bad if they retired without a really big win.
Especially for Vanmarcke and Naesen, too many bad lucks at bad moments.

Pissed Sagan will just sit on his wheel and the game is over. I do not think Gilbert is strong enough to get rid of him unless mechanical.

Benoot will not race Roubaix...

Got Terpstra at 13/1 last week. Not looking bad. The overwhelming favourite for sure. Or another 2014 scenario is also likely for QS.
Thanks, I replaced Benoot with Jasper Stuyven.

I thought Demare was quite impressive today and is more suited to Roubaix than Flanders. Definitely a contender imo.
As was Kristoff. You'd think Roubaix would suit him well but he never seems to be good there. Anyway, I really hope we don't get a Démare/Kristoff/Degenkolb type winner

Speaking of not being good at Roubaix, it's kinda weird to think Sagan has never even been on the podium.

Anyway, the most important question as always - how many (and which) of the favorites will be out because of crashes or mechanicals this year?

Sagan is strong and is able to match Gilbert 1st attack. Then GVA attack and Vanmarcke also.
Next one will be from Stybar and then Flander winner. The killer strike will be from Gilbert.

Flander will win might be true but it want be Gibert. Sagan will not be chasing. He will just sit on the Gibert wheel and .... loose.
As Sagan said he might not be able to win but he could always decide who will lose.

Negative racing on Gilbert wheel is his best option to win. And the best situation for Terpstra becoming legend. :)

Lol why he would sit on Gilbert's wheel? Maybe he could sit on Terpstra's wheel, but why Gilbert? He doesn't have any bad feelings towards him and Gilbert isn't favorite to win.

Trek looks quite good for P-R, assuming that Degenkolb will be better on the flat pavés than on the helligen (which I think is a likely assumption).
They might be the only team that can challenge QS on numbers alone.

If Trek is unable to match QS, I will be hoping for something unexpected to happen or, perhaps, bad luck for QS, which I would gladly welcome for the sake of having a more open race.

Ultimately, I just hope it won't be a "numbers" win a la Terpstra's 2014 win or Valgren's Omloop win.

5 QS in the top-10 - Stybar, Gilbert, Terpstra, Lampaert, Sénéchal. You heard it here first :p

That would not shock me at all. I play a fantasy manager and I did put 4 QS riders on my 9 man team for Flanders. I'm half temped to go with the entire QS team for Roubiax, and at minimum at least 4.
