First up at the championships in Rwanda is the women's elite time trial tomorrow (Sunday) at 10 o'clock (CEST). The course is the same as the one for the MU23, which doesn't include the western loop across the Côte de Péage from the ME ITT.

Three of the last four WC titles, as well as the latest OG, have been won by Grace Brown and Ellen van Dijk, both of whom have now retired.
Chloé Dygert, Marlen Reusser and Demi Vollering are the biggest favourites on paper, but nothing is set in stone. The likes of Van der Breggen, Henderson, Labous, Kerbaol and Niedermaier, who isn't defending her U23 title, can also fight for a medal if they have the legs tomorrow.

I suspect that Vollering is close to a certainty on this parcours. Don't like Dygert as her TTing has gone off a bit in the last two years. Watch on Trinca Colonel who is getting better at this discipline.

Anyone know where you can watch the women's ITT in the UK? BBC coverage isn't starting until 2.30pm UK time.

Dygert is more consistent in TTs than in road races, presumably because it's easier for her to endure the world of pain she's in over a shorter distance.

The weather looks good.

After I saw her on the start list I've been looking forward to see Frolova's ride. This isn't a random Vietnamese race, but she did narrowly beat Ivanchenko at the Russian NC so a top 15 isn't out of the question.

they have a stream up on their website now

There's also live coverage on the UCI Youtube channel, but it needs a VPN (UAE works, for example)

Guys, I'm all for globalization of the sport and every country participating.

But getting gals in there on road bikes wearing parachutes is where I draw the line. It just emphasizes how much of a farce it is.

But I expected her to be faster than Paladin, whose T1 time has already been heavily beat by Ytterhus Haugsett and a random Chinese rider.

Brilliant, thank you. I was looking at the TV guide, should have occurred to me they'd do an online stream too.

Beautiful, demanding course and heroic efforts. Must say I didn't expect that high avg. speed from first starter, but ofc she must've been extra motivated.
However could've been nice with a 10k pancake flat in mid section, surely some of the more inexperienced riders would meet interesting struggles at last climb.

Well, nice race, didn't expect my yearly WC vibes and nerves already hitting hard.

We're underway!
