It was impressive how Lidl-Trek gritted their teeth and rode themselves into the ground to make sure they could escort Bredewold back to the lead group. Very magnanimous.

I mean it's not fair to criticize Lidl-Trek. They have such a bad season and they wanted Markus to get back to the front group. And also give credit to Bredewold, who probably went all out to get back.

If you want to criticize a team, then it is FDJ United - Suez, but this time not united at all. Why didnt't they pushed the front group with Muzic and Berthet to secure at least a top 2 GC finish for Dickson? Instead they tried to attack which didn't worked out at all.

Btw: Włodarczyk got a 20 second penalty because of article 2.12.007 4.10 | Unauthorised feeding.
Because of that she dropped from 5th to 9th in the final GC.
