Glad to see the homepage is now showing a live feed link for the site that was supposed to be carrying the race.

Yeah DAOTEC, I thought I'd lend a hand, since it's suddenly all go.

That is quite a tasty startlist from all corners of Europe.
I will be interested to see how quite a few riders go.
The course looks nicely set up to decide the GC over the weekend.
The only problem is that the Iberian pair both have MTFs on Sunday.
Can you have too much of a good thing?:)

Really big names for this one! Scarponi, Nibali, Arroyo - Cobo, Samu, Mosquera, Kiserlosky, Karpets, Pozzato, Ten Dam, uffff...

I was looking forward to see this post soon, Thx Mellow! :D

About the race, I was expecting more mountains but the parcours seems to be nice...

The site route looks a bit different to that, however; they appear to travel up the road next to the prescribed route (which ends in a dead end and becomes a track) and cut to the left back to Collado, then back down to Quintanas de la Sierra, and then loop back and up to Lagunas de Neila. Many a time with Google Earth, Google Maps and Map My Ride set to satellite view have failed to yield to me where part of this track actually is - I seem to lose part of it.

They will cycle the last 5 hard kilometers anyway, there are many variants to reach up there, but the last part is the same regardless of where they approach to Neila.

Don't forgot about Anton. And, it might be interesting to see what Sicardo can do.

TRUE!!!!!!! Sorry I totally forgot him! and he has been doing great during the season specially in the spring races like Vuelta a Castilla y Leon where he did great against Contador... I really hope to see him attacking and going for Overall here and in La Vuelta...

OH Maddone. How many tours can we have at one time. Poland. Colombia. Denmark. Portugal. Now this.

Well Poland and Denmark will be competitions for Sprinters or all-rounders but Burgos is for Climbers as well Colombia... Here we will see more fireworks

Yeh this is the reason I don't understand why Rabobank didn't bring Mollema to Burgos and Weening to Poland. Suits both riders much better and it would be nice to see Mollema compete with some good names at Burgos.

Perhaps they're thinking about the grand scheme - world championships? If a Dutchie manages to grab the world title (don't ask me who or how) the odds are good it'll be a Rabo. Perhaps they want a title with Bauke, and they're thinking Poland is easier...

Isn't it common knowledge that Johnny Hoogerland will become the next World Champion?
And luckily, he's no part of the Rabobank outfit (yet)
