I shouldn't really care but it will be interesting to see how the Mecon does for Miche in this tour as he has been having some ok results in Italy.

Yep Soler is going... I want to see the battle between Riccó and Soler in the last stage...

I'm expecting to see Duque taking at least 1 stage =D

I hope this year's edition will not be damaged by the weather like it was last year. Med is interesting, really, I have not seen the profiles yet, but Mont Faron is there once more... It should be the great race, despite it's preparation status if only the weather would be fine.

I was going to start a thread for this, but with NO stage profiles available :/ and a lack of tv coverage, couldnt be bothered.

No idea who will win, there is one mountain top finish but what the rest of the stages are like god only knows. Possibly daily highlights available via fr3 online.

According to the Team Sky website it seems most stages are a bit bumpy so there will be chances for attacking riders to win stages and get a good GC position going into Faron. Some stages will certainly be sprints but the question is if all sprinters survive all bumps.

I started doing them in bikeroute to get profiles but the routes are so damn windy i got bored. First stage is certainly lumpy. Completely frustrating theyve posted no profiles. Riders have them in the pack. And the local press over there puts the profiles in the paper the day AFTER the race in the roundups. V. annoying.

I'd be careful with the team sky previews - last year they repeatedly talked up 100m climbs like they were going to decide GCs

Any streams going for the Tour Med???

Nope, there wont be either. Its got brief highlights nightly on Fr3 (south of france regional, not national) - like 1m30s each night. If I can find last years Fr3 news stream they will be youtubed, if not, im pretty sure worldcyclingchannel will be youtubing them also.

and is 77. RASCH Gabriel commuting from Qatar?

Great to see Dave Clarke in the Endura squad, I'm of the opinion that he's much more suited to being a continental pro than UK-based. I actually thought Sky should have picked him up as a domestique - the man's an endurance monster. Stick him on the front and leave him there, Yates mark II.

I live near Dave and am quite friendly with him, often one to talk down his training but is no stranger to regular 7-8 hour rides. I believe he's had a shot on the continent before but didn't quite come up with the goods? Hope things are different this season, Endura have a great race program. As you say he probably more suited to continental races rather than 2 crits a week as last season ;)
