40 Days before TdF: What are your Top 5 Bold Predictions?

Here's mine

1. Mass Crash in Passage du Gois
2. Stage 9 will be the best stage. Nibali, Valverde and Bardet to figure
3. Porte, Landa and Yates will not be in the Top 10
4. Gaviria to win the most stages
5. Bardet to fade in stage 20; Quintana to win Yellow

1. Cavendish to win 5 stages and green.
2. Froome to not top 20 but play a factor in who wins.
3. Kwiat to be the best placed in GC for sky in the top 10.
4. Valverde to be higher placed than Landa or Quintana.
5. Uran to win yellow.

Re: 40 Days before TdF: What are your Top 5 Bold Predictions

Froome will start.

Froome will troll the entire sport by feigning being on the limit or getting shelled towards the mountain top finishes, only to reel it all back and then some right before Paris.

- It will be a decent Tour
- Kelderman will top 5
- Sagan won't win green
- Kruijswijk will win a stage.
- This place won't melt
The boldest of them all :D

Here we go:
-No sky rider will finish in the top 10
-Kittel and Cav both won't win a stage
-Bardet will wear yellow but won't win
-Porte will win (no idea if that's bold)
-UAE won't top 3 in a single stage

1. Gaviria to win green
2. Froome to abandon due to repeated attacks from French spectators
3. Bernal to become leader of Sky
4. Movistar to implode, Landa to solo it w/in the team
5. Landa vs. Bernal in last TT for yellow

1. There will be a massive showdown on the Movistar bus between Quintana and Landa after Landa rode away on Quintana on the climb that day and whereby Quintana lost 2.03 minutes.on GC

2. Geraint Thomas will be SKYs best rider and sit on a podium position until after the final rest day whereby e will crack/crash Froome will take over as SKY leader

3. Nibali will have a slow start but on the 3rd last day all his competitors will either get sick, crash or blow and he will go on to win in Paris

4. Richie Porte & Roman Bardet will finish on the podium

5. Aru will turn up and win a stage but later will retire from the race

5. Gaviria will win the points jersey and 5 stages

1) Zakarin to win in Roubaix
2) Ewan will be the best sprinter
3) Froome won't start
4) Landa to lose big chunks of time in the first week and then look like the best climber in the final week so his fans can tweet #Landismo every 2 minutes and tell us he'll win the Vuelta
5) Quintana in yellow in Paris

Re:

Bernal wait for Chris as 2012 Veulta Chris waited for Wiggins.
Young Bernal stamped his authority and ready to start his GT domination since then and keep dominating till his reach 36 years old.

1. Red Rick will not complain about the race
2. I will not complain about Red Rick complaining about the race
3. Bouhanni will finish the race
4. FDJ will finish the race with more than four riders
5. Contador thread will somehow be more lively than other threads

Re: 40 Days before TdF: What are your Top 5 Bold Predictions

I want to change one of my predictions with "Froome to abandon after he realizes he can't make an 80 km solo on the penultimate mountain stage"

2. Froome will fade.
3. Movistar will implode arguing all the time.
4. Rafał 'The Braveheart' Majka will gain podium :D .
5. Egan Bernal will win the first of his so many GT palmares.

- The Ventolin wizard isn't allowed to start, causing major butthurt among the english speaking july fans who blame French nationalism
- Close fight between Nibali who attacks on all kind of terrains and Quintana who's back at his best in the high mountains, close win for Nibali
- Porte beats Bardet for the final podium spot, not peaking from Down under until Dauphine will pay off for him.
- Fuglsang gets a 5th place, Jungels finishes 6th.
- Gaviria won't crash (very bold) and will dominate the sprints.
- Unzue will screw over Landa and tell everyone just to look after Quintana and Valverde on the cobbles and on the potential crosswind stages.
- Polka Dot jersey for Kruijswijk who'll loose a ton of time durning the first week.
