9 Australian athletes have tested positive for methylhexaneamine or DMAA. the athletes have yet to be named but none of the athletes are from the AFL or athletics. 4 NRL players are under investigation but none of the others are known to which sport they belong to.

From what I've seen on Foxsports News there are no AFL or NRL players that tested positive. The Rugby League players came from the Toyota Cup (under 20s), Jim Beam Cup (NSW league) and the Queensland Cup. The rest apparently competed at the Commonwealth Games, but I have no idea which sports they came from.

So will it be a chance for those effected to get some money back if they are suspended.

As shown by the ongoing Rui Costa case, it doesn't matter if you conclusive prove that the supplement was contaminated. You're still getting suspended.

The rules are clear: You're responsible for what's found in your body.

I was going to post this yesterday but thought I may be defying my nation by suggesting that every athlete isn't 100% clean.

Interesting if people were testing positive because of "contaminated recreational drugs".

If they were taking "supplements" then I will not feel too sorry for them.

If they were knowingly taking it as a PED - about time ASADA caught someone.

I believe Sassi's motives are genuine and even though it may be Ricco's own decision to dope, it will reflect poorly on Sassi, Evans and Basso.

5 Jamaican athletes in 2009, 2 Nigerian athletes during the 2010 Commonwealth Games, 2 Portuguese cyclists this month and now 9 Australian athletes. Nice DMAA series. And Australia wins.

ASADA are not protecting anyone they are warning them they state they dont condone suppliments in any form.

They recomend that you dont use suppliments.

ASADA is not Government the Government just pay them I dont think the Australian government know much about ASADA .

If any big name Australian athleats are banned from the olympics by ASADA watch the funding dissapear.
