Man @Ilmaestro99 should work as a scout for a WT team.
Hyped up Masnada long before his honorary quasi victory of Lombardia 2021 (because let's be honest, Pogacar got lucky there) and now the great Eulalio revelation! This guy doesn't miss.

Great to see him doing well, I've heard he's a *** TTler but to be honest, so is almost everyone else of the GC guys beside Arensmann so should still head into the Alps with a nice buffer. Since Almeida went to the Dark Empire and the annual Volta a Portugal "talent" well has run dry we've sorely been missing a Portuguese prospect to be enthusiastic about, let's gooo.

Yes, he's very poor at TTing.
To make matters worse, this is a long flat TT. It's tailor made against him.
It's impossible to know if this is a power thing or a TT bike issue, but since I hate TT bikes, I've decided the latter

caruso will be important for pacing him on the big climbs , and when he loses pink he should more easily be able to stay calm with damiano

top5 will be hard , but with no implosion its not impossible . 7th would be great too

Top3 is totally possible as no one outside Vingo & Gall has impressed the slightest nor clawed meaningful time back to Eulalio. Besides, there are several semi-mountain stages suitable for him to even drop few of purer diesel climbers for extra 20-30 secs.

Yes, Arensmann, Hindley, O'Connor and quite few others can still threaten. But while I wouldn't yet give Eulalio better than 1/3 odds for podium, it is still better odds than for anyone else for the 3rd spot amongst close to ten still-potential aspirants.

Interesting to see how him and Rondel do in their 1st-ever TT which matters.

Lovely to see so many people cheering for Eulálio, because he truly deserves the praise!

What a warrior, he fell and was still almost the only one trying to make the stage interesting.

It’s already such a huge Giro for him. A top 10 now seems most likely, but a top 5 would be the cherry on the cake.
