After-work ride, Marin headlands

I had a great after work ride last night, over the Golden Gate bridge and into the Marin headlands. I feel pretty blessed to have such a thing right next to my office!

Good Times

I was fortunate enough to have lived in Pac Heights for a year. Did the same ride, through the Presidio, over the GG, up and over the Headlands to the beach, maybe then to Sausalito. A few impressions have stayed with me, like the change in climate from Pac Heights (partly cloudy, 65 degrees), the GG (cooler, foggy, constant unidirectional wind so that to ride in a straight line you have to have about a 5 degree tilt) and the full on sun and heat on the other side. A fun, challenging ride. Enjoy.

I do this same ride! One of the most beautiful rides in the county, IMO. I take all my out of town visitors on that basic route.
