And Nike, Trek, Oakley's response after all of this?

Nike will be the 1st one out. However, they'll probably just let his contract run out. Oakley is deluded with Armstrong supporters. And John Burke at Trek actually thinks that the sales of Trek are not hurt at all by his branding with Armstrong.

Well, someone needs to inform John that I will NEVER EVER buy a Trek, simply b/c of them supporting Wonderboy, and what both did to Lemond, F€!@ Trek, Armstrong & Burke.

You are smoking dope, BD, cause Nike ain't going nowhere . . . they stand for EVERYTHING LA stands for as a company. And don't expect Trek, Oakley or Giro to do anything differently either . . . not sure about the rest though.

Have you seen Nike walk away from a crack smoking, adulterous ***** monger of a professional golfer yet?

No I didn't think so.

Nike will only change when the bottom line is hurt, or they are fully humiliated.

Recall, Nike didn't remove Joe Paterno's name from their Child Development Center until after the Freeh Report was released. This is long, long after JoPa was repeatedly implicated in protecting Jerry Sandusky's serial child molestation, and long after Sandusky was jailed. There's a long thread with many links in the Café, if you want to know more.

I will believe it when it happens; plus, LA is not a child molester. The fact that MV is back in Nike's stable of "branding pimps" tells you everything you need to know about Nike.

Interesting to see there is not one picture of Lance on Carmichael Training Systems website.

Seem to be fewer on Trek's site too. How many TDF's have been won on Trek bikes again (I think the count is now 1 isn't it?).

Tiger cheated on his wife. Newsflash, so did Armstrong. Tiger didn't actively dope, and ruin people's businesses. Tiger didn't harass other people and their families. Armstrong did.

Nike is about as they come. They enhanced their fortune in the 80s on the backs of pumping $100+ sneakers to inner city kids that were made in China or thereabouts by workers being paid pennies an hour, then stuck their head in the sand every time another kid got shot/stabbed over a pair.

It wasn't surprising to me at all when I saw the article on CN about Nike. They have made too much money off black and yellow crap that they sell in every ****'s and Sports Authority in the US. Like all of his other followers they just don't care about cycling. Even in their press release, they say that.

I was under the impression that Lance owned part of Trek, so I don't see why that relationship would ever go anywhere.

As for Tiger, Nike did drop him, but then a year or so later, picked him back up. Nike has made way more money on Dopestrong stuff than they ever did on Tiger's crap.

Nike never dropped Tiger Woods. They have stood behind him, claiming his scandal is a "minor blip".. lol
