without cancellara he wouldn't have even finished on the podium after the 2nd stage where everyone waited for him when he lost 5 minutes because he couldn't sit on his bike straight. or what about the cobble stage where his brother frank had to crash again and contador had a flat. you think andy waited there with cancellara?? no of course not. how does this crybaby still have fans?? I start to hate him more than boonen.

The most significant thing I took away from the article linked above is that the one-time friendship/relationship between Schleck and Contador, whatever its nature may have been, is long gone. They are rivals. It will be fun to watch the rematch, whether it comes in 2012 or 2013. A rivalry is so much better than a mutual respect.

I've lost my love for andy Schleck a long time ago, but I actually like the fact that he steps into the role as a rival. Too bad Contador won't be able to ride the tour this year, considering the latest development in their "relationship".

The problem is, dropping your chain because of a bad shift on a climb is more of a rider error than mechanical trouble. A flat tire would have been something completely different and he'd have the right to whine about that.

And if he hates Alberto so much, why didn't he just man up and say it during the Tour instead of playing nice and accepting Alberto's "apology"? It's easy to pile on the guy now that he's facing a doping suspension.

Above all, the bottom line is that we don't know who would have won if Alberto hadn't gained time that day. There would have been a lot more riding on that final climbing stage and how do we know it wouldn't have played out differently? Given this and his recent comments about Sastre, it looks like Schleck likes to play the "I would have won if..." game.

Things can changу quite rapidly. Remember the time when Contador was the new "Chosen One" of cycling, Pat McQuaid himself stated that he believes Contador is clean and etc. And then came autumn of 2010 and his positive test, and we know are told that Contador has damaged cycling and should be punished.

Amazing the posters here. They have seamlessly transfered their Armstrong hatred towards Andy Schleck.

I think Andy and Frank bring fun and excitement into cycling, and what a world beating team they have. I will like to see the rivalry between LeOpard, Quick step and Pharma Lotto.
