Now that everything has been cleared, we can all finally see that someone that attacks on a mechanical doesn't deserve to be a champion.

I always had my concerns about Contador after that 2010 TDF. He demonstrated poor character and was a dishonor to the sport in general all other bigger issues aside. Attacking on a mechanical just isn't done. Lance demonstrated this many times, even waiting for almost a minute when Ulrich crashed.

It really is only justice that things ended up the way they did.

Andy Schleck is now recognized as the true 2010 TDF Winner, and rightfully so.

Goodbye AC, you deserve what you are getting

You are absolutely right and I congratulate you for your brave stance on this forum. May I also point out Ullrich waited/did not attack Armstrong when he rode into that kid on the side of the road and brought down Mayo, and neither when he went through the corn field. Another example of a true champion

What happened in the tour happened. Evans got injured and lost big amounts of time while in the yellow jersey in the same tour. I got over it. You should too.

Whatever you feel about Contador v Schleck, bringing Armstrong into this discussion is mute. In his first Tour win, there was a huge crash on the 2nd day and many of the favourites got stuck behind the crash, Zulle, Gotti, Boogerd. Guess who had their team at the front of the race hammering along with 2 other teams to maximise their losses, yep thats right Mr Armstrong. Those contenders lost the Tour on the 2nd stage as they all lost 6mins that day. Dont ever recall Armstrong showing too much worry about Beloki when he crashed right in front of Armstrong either. Just jumped straight back into the race. Waiting for someone when the race is not 'on' is not the same as waiting for someone when the race is 'on'.

Oh and I forgot, deliberately chasing a minor rider down whilst holding race leadership and sitting on his wheel until he joins a break and then threatning to sabotage the break unless a certain rider drops out whilst having no interest in said break and then threatning and abusing said rider is hardly a ringing endorsement of sportsmanship. The ultimate in bad sportsmanship morelike and it is always funny to watch the fans try to spin their way out of that one.

When Schleckgot stuck behind in 2010, the peloton agreed to neutralise the stage so he could get back on otherwise he would have lost the Tour as well. Also dont recall Schlcek waiting for anyone delayed by crashes over the cobblestoned stage. Unless you actually know what you are talking about, I would suggest you refrain from talking rubbish.

If Schleck sees it as revenge why doesn't he sound happier about the amended result ? He actually commented to a journalist that he did not see it as a win because he did not win it on the bike. That's a pretty lukewarm feeling of revenge.

and where is Andy's "revenge on Contador" in all of that? That is no revenge. He still didn't really win Le Tour in 2010. And even Andy himself is clearly aware of that.

He might be listed as winner on paper, but ppl will still remember Contador as the winner (justified or not)

Pretty weak man...pretty weak post indeed.

You can have your opinion....doesn't mean it's right or supported. :(

Wrong account Wonderlance ;)

Funny to see Christian thinking he has now got some major firepower behind him coming out and making his stand (after pretending to just be a reasonable fair minded fan of the Schlecks without supporting their hatred of cycling and paranoia).

Sorry Chris its only a joke thread. Intended for a laugh.

Albert should have waited. Lance would have and lance knows how to win tours.

He has a lot to learn. This TDf is tainted.
