Are hydraulic shifters larger in terms of reach compared to shifters for rimbrakes?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the size difference in shimano shifters:

Are the hydraulic 105 shifters of shimano larger in terms of reach than the 105 shifters for rimbrakes?

You can adjust the reach on some Shimano hydro shifters (certainly Ultegra and DA, have to check 105).

I'm almost certain 5800 series 105 had reach and free stroke adjustment, because I'm sure I remember doing it for someone. In think free stroke was on top and reach was underneath.
