Lance Armstrong has set himself a new challenge with plans to compete in the gruelling Hawaii Ironman in 2011 or 2012, depending on whether this year or the following will be his last Tour de France.

“I will be in Kona 15 months after the final Tour,” Armstrong told Australian Associated Press. “If it’s 2010, then it will be Kona 2011. If it’s 2011, it will be Kona 2012.

hmm, that might mean one final season for Brunyeel to ruin before Lance steps out of the sport that won't miss him one iota. Andone more season where super talented youngsters in Brajkovic and Machado have to ride around helping an old, slow Texan. I honestly can't see why any rider worth their salt would choose to go to Radioshack

No it was the guys at velonation who spotted the fact that the quote was old. THey did their homework. So im not sure of your point.

As for velonation, a million times more credible than CN recently. At least they can translate accurately.

Contadors' problem and Astanas' admissions does vindicate some of Lord Armstrongs and the Radio Shacks' poor performances in the tour.
