I think this cross deserves a thread on its own because it's a true classic.
As Stybar put it, a cross that every rider dreams to win. The setting is a castle that is now a military field. A great technicle descent and rather dangerous and then one of the steepest climb on the tour, where in 2007 Nys took a 20 second leads over Vervecken and Mourey in a minimum of time, one of the most impressive attack in these last few years:

Stybar now has a knee inflammation, consequence of the back pain he felt on training in Mallorca. Hope he'll be all right.
Last year's race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsv24cEEONg&feature=related
The roadies, Mourey and Franzoi, usually do well on this heavy cross, both were podiums.
One of the hardest in Belgium with Overijse and Namur I would say.
