Back to Racing Post Clavicle Fixation?

Broken collar bone in 6 pieces fixed with a plate and screws, was cleared to ride at 4 weeks and feels fine when riding. Waiting to race as want to know that it could handle a minor dust up before getting back in the competitive mix, how long do most people wait that aren't getting paid real money to race? Thoughts?
