My two cents is I think Basso should tell the truth about his involvement in OP and stop trying to say that he only intended to dope. I think he should use the same three principles and be honest, fair and transparent in regards to his own admissions. Until he does that, I don't think he should be asking for explanations from anyone.

Nobody considers himself guilty in this big game, but everyone has no doubt that his main opponents dope as minimum not less. That's the point I heard from russian Eurosport commentator after the memorable Vinokourov's exile from the Tour de France, though Eurosport is known for its very correct and cautious opinion on this issue. I guess it's not unreasonable. Probably no one lost so much from suspension as Basso did.
