Otherwise much the same as last year won by Big Mads Pedersen.

Last year's second place van Poppel is present, but UAE are here with Wellens who'll be racing against De Lie again after their race at the Renwei Tour.
If Milan can get over the lumpy bits he should be the favourite in a bunch sprint.

This is in the same spot as Frankfurt till last year. Almost no punchers coming here and every team with a sprinter so almost no one even wants to try. Parcours with those Waseberg ascents isn't even that bad. You could make a difference on it if you want but almost no one wants to.

At least Aranburu is trying.

Literally no team really riding. One of the worst races of the season.

Should be Milan vs Philipsen now
Yeah it's just a big bunch sprint. Makes sense that Alpecin and Lidl want this, but Soudal sans-Merlier should've gone harder. Same with UAE, and a few of the others.

The issue is just that Wanty, Alpecin, Soudal, Lotto, Bora, Lidl all have a genuine chance at a podium (or win) in a sprint. Ineos for some reason have also decided this but I think that says more about their current state of affairs than anything else.
