It's horrible even by that standard. Horrible roads, ugly race.

Frankfurt even when it was most sprinter-friendly was so much better.

Wonderful was perhaps a bit too much, but I think it would have potential.

It says it all really that the race thread has had more posts since they crossed the line than while it was on.

Parcours don’t help but it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy when so many teams come equipped with mass sprint as Plan A,B and C for it to be a very passive and boring race.

Bini looked good on the climbs.A podium is a good result after the training week in the Benelux Tour. Plus, the team had a good performance today with Teunissen's Top 10.

"On the way I didn’t feel well and I said that the team could join dangerous breakaways. They kept motivating me to let me sprint. I tried to do that and look at it now. A nice surprise!” Kooij assesses of his triumph. “We turned in a good position for the last two kilometres, that was important. After that I followed the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe train. Alexander Kristoff then came past with speed and made sure I could find a good wheel. After that it was all about pushing and luckily I was able to hold on until the finish.”
