Betsy Andreu Is A National Treasure

Funny how it only takes (seemingly) one honest person to unveil and unwind a sea of corruption and deception.

And, she exposed Lance for the misogynist that he is:

Q. Why would Mr. Andreu say the same things, if you know?

A. Probably to support his wife, which I don't know if you're married or not, but --

Q. I am.

A. -- sometimes is required.

Q. And so you think -- is it your testimony that Mr. Andreu was also lying when he said that he heard you say those things regarding your prior use?

A. 100 percent. But I feel for him.

Q. What do you mean by that?

A. Well, I think he's trying to back up his old lady.

Dave.

Armstrong is not fit to clean Ms Andreu's shoes.

Betsy should be made the Honoury Patron of the Clinic for her standing up to doping, not only Frankie's but to someone like Armstrong.

A real person showing how to really live strong. Chapeau Betsy.

is this the post of the frikkin day or what?
three nails on the head.

I always loved that turn of a phrase. Sounds more like a pool hall or bowling alley than a response to a question under sworn oath.

All he needed was a trucker hat, a wife-beater shirt, and a mullet...

I bet his mother was really proud of that.

It was Floyd who got this ball rolling.

But it is nice to see someone who sticks to the truth for no gain. She probably could have asked for and received hush money.

And she would be every bit of an international treasure if this turns out the right way - not just national.

Well...

It all looks good now, but at the time it didn't and I don't doubt for a minute a little honesty harmed Frankie's career. You want to pay her back? Get Frankie a powerful job in cycling.

Bauer is working as a DS and hopefully keeping his riders clean. Why not a similar program for Frankie?

A little smaller way to show your appreciation over at NYVelocity.com. The BAAS cap.

Michael Brown, it's hard to say who got the ball rolling. I'd argue Landis was a tipping point. The Andreau's definitely helped get the ball rolling.

I have never seen that testimony per se before. He makes my blood boil..
Classless and lowball, but that has been my opinion for a long time...it's just always the way he conducts himself.

Frankie also deserves props for the humility it took to stick a mic in LA face after every stage of Le Tour for VS

If I was being feisty I'd have called him an *******. I just pointed out a snotty statement, Bullwinkle.:D

What I got from his statement was that Lance's language and caz response was more appropriate when hangin' out in a pool hall or bowling alley than in a court of law. ..no respect

Interesting take, how about the trucker hat? I think I gotta disagree with you on this one.

How would you know? Have you spent extensive time in both places? Big Lebowski much?

His language more the response you would get from a Texan .

Well...that's his embellishment, not my choice of words. It sounds to me like some of the residents around here are trying to get each other riled. :)
gotta have respect..

Too bad you don't appreciate independent women that can think for themselves ...It seems like Betsy doesn't think she has to be subservient and take ***t from an overbearing 7-time tour winner.

I'm not sure why a woman telling the truth and sticking by her story is so threatening.

Hey, and tell Glenn_ that yes, I have spent some time in bowling alleys, pool halls, AND courts of law. I grew up in the midwest...we did it all :)
