Canadians with a short memory like mine :D can now watch the Universal Sports' Vuelta coverage on SNE1 cable channel -- or at least the remaining two weeks of it since they were into stage 7 by the time I stumbled across it...

Thats great for you. But are their any access to it? Anything like video streaming or something? Watching it through the net.

Sportsnet ONE actually ran the Vuelta coverage LIVE at the time, but you had to really dig to find any mention of it on their site, and there was no promotion from the other Sportsnet channels. Sorry, no streaming. They don't even have a "Cycling" page at sportsnet.ca, just a couple of Contador headlines buried in "More Sports".

Really? I couldn't find it live, but I have been enjoying the replays. It's a completely different race when its in a resolution high enough to recognize the riders!

Even having watched the end of most of the stages live (streaming at low res), its highly enjoyable watching it again.

We won't tell you who wins, we don't want to spoil the excitement for you. :D

With a bit of luck they will interrupt their delayed Vuelta transmission and go live to the Dutch border for the very moment BMC's Giro squad finally leaves the Netherlands. Any moment now....
