Bike protection on matte/satin finishes?

I'm currently riding on a specialized SL6 Comp satin/matte black finish and I'm just wondering what do any of you guys used as protection after washing? I've been scouting quite a number of forums but I can't seem to get an answer.

I've seen some products such as juice lubes matte detailer finish as well as some muc off products like bike protect, silicon shine and even their matte detailer finish.

I've also read some forums not to use normal polish that can potentially ruin the frame's matte finish.

I'm currently considering either the muc off line whether it is bike protect, silicon shine or the matte detailer finish but I'm not sure which is the best. Majority of videos i found online uses silicon shine even by a team sky pro team mechanic. So im generally very very confused.

Would really appreciate the help guys. Cheers in advance! :)

Biggest thing is what you use to wash - never use baby wipes for anything more than an emergency cleanup. They drag everything they pick up across the surface and wear the paint.

As for protecting the frame, a very light silicone spray works wonders. When you've finished washing and servicing put a small amount on a clean cloth and give the frame a good once over, it will also pick up any little marks you may have missed. You don't need to spend a lot more on identical "bike specific" sprays, just make sure it's non corrosive.

And don't let it get on your brakes/discs/rims!

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I use regular dish washing liquid as my main source of soap, would that be okay or would you recommend car shampoo and etc?

After washing I plan to use this as my after wash protective spray would that be alright?

Dish soap is OK, just make sure to get it all off. The product above looks fine, I'm not familiar with it but it's bike specific so shouldn't be any issues. Sometimes it comes down to trial and error.
