Bradley Wiggins Video

Lately I've been really impressed with the work, talent and sportsmanship of Bradley Wiggins, so I made a video - The Rise of Wiggo: Tour History of Bradley Wiggins. I'm posting it here because I hope you'll have a look:

Good stuff, although TdF 2009 should have more footage, also there is the 2011 Vuelta omission. Watch for black frames, I'm not sure if you meant for them to be there.

There are certain things i like about Wiggins but other things i dont like.

For instance, the way he treated Garmin on his departure to Sky and the way he refused to do his turn on the front for Farrar on the Champs Elysees when he was supposed to do, was very disrespectful and dismissive of his teammates.

On the other hand he has won 2 big races in the Dauphine and P-N and that needs to be respected. Looking at the way he refused to work for Farrar at the Tour, maybe he has learnt his lesson as he did do some good work for Porte in Algarve recently.

Like has been said, nice video and a good one to open your account here with.

Also, in an interview recently he said " he was happy to see the back of some

dead wood" refering to ex team mates from 2011 - very direspectful.

Thank you for your comments! I know I didn't include a lot of races in Wiggins career - maybe one day I'll be hired by Sky to do a proper retrospective :)

I started out with the poem, a favourite of mine, and realised it fit well with the highs and lows of his racing career (I bet it fits a lot of people's lives). It grew from there. I was hoping that people who don't follow pro-cycling would still enjoy his story and the video.

He said he "was happy to see the back of some dead wood" isn't true. It was a silly enough comment without needing to add extra to it.

Nit picking. I made my comment from memory - either way , very disrespectful.

He should remember that boots have a habit of changing feet.

He's right though, Simon Gerrans is dead wood.

And Greg Henderson of course! He sucks, getting all those victories for Greipel this season, what a loser...

And he must be happy that they got rid of that rotten idiot Kurt Arle Arvesen. What a disgrace he was for Sky.

It's not nitpicking, you had it in quotes, and your version is far, far worse.

I'd have thought he was talking about Pauwels maybe?

Yeah he is an idiot for saying that and he goes down in my estimation after seeing that video.

Not every cyclist can be as good as him, Cav, EBH, Uran and Porte and you have to respect each teammate who is trying to earn a living in the sport and who want to make some sort of career for themselves.

It was a very dismissive thing to say but he has his nice little clique at Sky now so he doesnt care one bit.

thats true - but if Cav doesnt feel things are working right hes not one to keep his gob shut - Wiggo will try to show whos boss - the tdf could be a disasted for them this year, even if Cav doesnt go for Green. Remeber, these two didnt talk for a long time after the Olympics and Cav has a long memory.
