BTWIN Ultra 720 AF or Bulls Harrier 2

For around the price of the Bulls you also have the CAAD12, best aluminium frame in the market + 105 does the trick just as good as Ultegra.

But yeah, nothing like testing each of them. Bike fit is everything.

Also, depending on what you will do with the bike, you'll find the B'twin may have better wheels. It's also considerably cheaper and frame lifetime warranty is defo a big plus.

I'll second the CAAD 12 with 105. Those frames are considered a benchmark for a reason. For that kind of money you could probably get a CAAD 10 with Ultegra new, and certainly second hand.

Other alternatives are the Giant TCR and Specialized Allez.

Hi all,
What bike can you recommend me?

BTWIN Ultra 720 AF
http://www.decathlon.co.uk/ultra-720-af-road-bike-ultegra-id_8331274.html

or

Bulls Harrier 2
https://www.bulls.de/produkt/bulls-harrier2-564-03048

Both have the same price tag (1299 EUR) and both come with an Ultegra group set

Since both are online sales, I assume your choices are limited to buying online(?) Most bikes at this price point are very similar..to really know which you prefer..ya gotta ride them..and I recommend a LBS..where you can ride them..then have a place to go if you have any issue with them(like need a longer/shorter stem), type thing.

I would ask your local bike shops when bikes go on sale - then ride and buy. That is what I usually do.

With no location info that's a fair assumption, although Decathlon have a huge brick and mortar presence in Europe and I'm pretty sure Bulls have at least one location in Germany (they are more similar to Ribble from what I remember) so it's possible both bikes can be tested.

Otherwise I completely agree with everything you say, LBS all the way.

If I had such choice I would choose Bulls Harrier 2. But there is a good review at bikeradar about B’Twin Ultra 920:

And I, honestly, tend to trust reviews. I've found my sweet Public Women’s C1 Dutch Style bike. I read the article here:

...looked at the picture and bought it!
Different bike type, I know :)

P.S. Sorry if I posted it twice, something's going wrong with my laptop(
