Campy 10S Chorus Cassette replacement options...

Ask the Brains Trust....

Since Campy have so delightfully (NOT) stopped producing their very nice Chorus 10-speed UD cassettes, and I do NOT wish to use the loose cogs of the Centaur/Veloce on good Tune MAG hubs (with Alu cassette carriers), I am looking for recommendations for "aftermarket" cassettes that have Alu carriers.

So far the best option I have found appear to be the IRD Elite casettes, with Ni-Chrome steel cogs, the four largest on Alu carriers.

Other recommendations? Comments on life of the IRD units, problems, etc?

Cheers.

Never had a problem running individual cog'd cassettes on campy fhubs. Campy's spline design is so deep that it prevents gouging, unlike the "S" style fhubs. I've run Miche cassettes with my Campy groups for many years because you're able to build custom ratios with individual cogs.

I buy from them infrequently but they do seem to have things other sources don't. I live in the US and shipping usually takes longer from them than UK sources, but...

Hope you bought two so you're covered for a while.
