The biggest name involved was ex-pro Jordi Riera, who rode for Kelme and 3 Molinos. The bust came about after somebody involved in the operation, which was mostly to do with amateurs, solicited the custom of Xavier Tondó, who handed the information over to the police.

also an investigation following information provided by Tondó, Andorra having previously been found to be the source of the products in the ring busted in February; the biggest names involved in this were ex-Footon rider Enrique Mata and two Caja Rural riders, Victor de la Parte and Guillermo Lana.
