Can Swift challenge for a grand tour podium in the future? (Say 4 years from now)?

He came 25th just behind basso on stage 16's hellish stage, he did well in the mountain time trial and is improving constantly.

Ohhhh... No, Swift ambition is not to become GT rider.

Geraint Thomas I think wants too, not Swifty.

Well...normally I would say hell no. But it's 2014, and given what we've seen in recent years I'd have to say, maybe.

Yes of course, he's "only" 26 and he already has a top 25 from a mountain stage where half the peloton gave up due to hypothermia, what a massive performance.

If a 42 year old on one leg can win a GT, anybody can. That includes DekkerTifosi when he decides to give up time on Computer and starts training...

Nope let him keep sprinting on the hard stages. If he can survive the "medium" mountains stages then he can out sprint whoever is left. Then again with Sky all things are possible....at least for a couple of years and then you won't have any energy.

If you want something badly enough you'll find a way to make it happen. ;)

According to so website I was on a good trained amateur will do the Ventoux in between 1:30 and 2 hours. I did it in 1:40, si I am not to far from being a very good trained amateur. And from there it will be a short way to the pro ranks

Can I win to? :)
I've done 2 tour climbs already ;)

Sure everybody can. One leg is enough... Just make sure you get the right nutrition. ;) Grandpa might give you some tipps.

Depends. How old are you? Around 25? You have a ton time left to peak then. At least 15 years. So don´t worry...

Planning to really start training when I reach 30. Right now I am just making sure that my base training is in order. :p
