So why not more comments about Schlecks team putting the hammer down on Armstrongs and Contadors flat tyres on stage 3 last year?

Is that part of racing where rider error on a climb is not?

Thanks for the useless replies. The thread in the link was buried way further down than I have time to read and this will be mentioned more times in commentary this year than a lot of things.

To say noone cares about last year is to insult most cycling fans. Maybe you should write to cyclingnews and Robert Millar?

Sorry b77, but you're not the only member of the forum so it would be appreciated if you added to existing threads. Nobody means to dump on you, people are just sensitive to the sheer volume of TDF threads and we've had a couple of new ones now on this very dated and thoroughly hashed-out topic. Nothing personal, but you're probably going to get a few more "useless replies."

Sure they do. This can be a viscious forum, especially when someone with few posts to their name starts a stale/redundant threat.

Without neophytes, how in the world could our arrogance be justified?;)
